Walpole Wild pursuit; 2 men charged

After stealing beer and leading police on a high-speed chase that involved a crash and a near-collision with an officer, a drunken Walpole youth and man were arrested early Monday morning, authorities said.

Andrew T. Laacanen, 18, is charged with reckless conduct, disobeying a police officer and reckless operation.

Jeremy A. Provencher, 26, is charged with disobeying a police officer and driving after being deemed a habitual offender of motor vehicle laws.
